xAI launched Connectors in Grok Web, iOS, and Android, bringing deep integrations with enterprise apps directly into the Grok chat experience. Users can now connect SharePoint, Outlook, OneDrive, Google Workspace, Notion, GitHub, and Linear, plus bring their own Model Context Protocol (MCP) server for custom workflows.

The integrations go beyond read-only access. With write permissions enabled, Grok can create, edit, and update SharePoint documents, lists, and pages. Google Workspace integration covers Gmail, Drive, Docs, Sheets, and Calendar, where Grok can both read and compose content. GitHub and Linear connections let Grok search code, summarize pull requests, review changes, and track development workflows.

The MCP server support is particularly notable, allowing teams to connect any custom tooling to Grok regardless of what internal systems they use. This mirrors similar moves by Anthropic and OpenAI to support MCP as a standard protocol for AI-tool interoperability.

The launch positions Grok as a direct competitor to Microsoft Copilot and Google's Gemini for enterprise assistant workflows, targeting teams that want a single AI interface across their productivity stack.
